He was better. Stronger. He had everything figured out. He was untouchable. Until he wasn't. His world changed, throwing him off of his high horse and humbling him. But he still had another chance, a chance to rebuild, to grow and change. And he wasn't allowed to mess it up. This is a short fiction, 12K words long, and also my first. It should take about 50 minutes to read, give or take.
