To kill or be killed, the choice seems obvious…  But is it really?   Year 2055  The forefront of Virtual Reality, Virtualis, unveiled the pinnacle of human technology. The Unparalleled Capsule (UPC) promised features untold in human history: Complete sense sync, time perception dilation, and above all, Free of charge for the first month. Preinstalled with a mysterious game called Unparalleled, Virtualis gifted the machine to anyone who inquired At the same global time, over 5 million people virtualized their minds as they entered unknown territory. With over half the population transported to a new world, it was the event of the century. However, all things come at a cost. With untold dangers and obstacles, the players were forced to walk a thin line between life and death. And no, not temporary death, permanent, irreversible death. Written as book one of Unparalleled: Solus, this will be co-released with the first installment of Unparalleled: Maximus. My co-authors and I began writing these series because wanted we wanted to show that there are always two sides to a story. It’s two different series based in the same universe and time but from two different perspectives.
