Liam, a 15-year-old boy, is dragged into another world by the Goddess of Fate, against his will. Upon arrival, he barely escapes death at the hands of a vicious monster but is saved by a group of three explorers. Welcomed into their group, Liam tries to convince them that he comes from another world. Once they understand his situation, they train him to become their fourth member. Over the years, Liam fights alongside them and faces numerous challenges until he sacrifices himself to defeat the most powerful demon, losing his humanity in the process. Before he becomes a threat himself, one of his companions kills him to save him. After his death, Liam once again meets the Goddess, who sends him back to his original world, only to find that now, his world also harbors the same magical energy that defined the other world.
