It's Monday, and this exemplary student already submitted the research that is due at 8 AM. Today, I want to keep myself unnoticeable as much as possible and keep my distance from Shane. Starting from now on, I don't want to be involved with him.
It's break time, and I just had my lunch a while ago. I had a bento box with me, which was made all by myself because I don't want to be in the crowded cafeteria every lunchtime. Cooking is love, and it's my passion too, so why not use it in productive things. Creating a bento box becomes a habit every morning before going to school.
Oopppssss. I drink too much water earlier.
And it feels like I need to pee, can't hold it anymore, so rush to the nearest comfort room and went into a cubicle. I do not urinate in the school as much as possible because it's too uncomfortable using the urinals, especially when another person is using them. Another thing is that, as a gay, you will be discriminated against everywhere, even in a comfort room. They feel like I would sexually harass them as if I am so interested in their thing, which is untrue. It is such a stereotype.
Waiting... I stayed inside the cubicle for a minute because I need to be sure that no one is there before going out. I stand by until no sound can be heard.
I went out of the cubicle. I am almost at the doorway when someone came in and bumped to me. It's Shane.
I said, "sorry," and hurriedly runs back to the room and slammed my face on the desk.
Keeping my distance from him, and yet we crossed our paths, and the thing is, bumping into him in the restroom. Never mind. After lunch, it is the last class before dismissal. The teacher is absent, and there's no substitute, so it's free time.
"Got to get out of here since there's nothing to do. I will go to the library to study and so that Shane will not see me, and he'll be out of my sight." Speaking to myself and starts walking to the library.
The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.
The bookworm in me went straight to the deepest part of the library where only a few people would interest. Remember, avoid people and do not attract attention. This part is the best place to hide as it's in the corner, a little bit darker from the rest as there are fewer lights, and also, there are big shelves around here. I put my things on the floor, sat down next to them, and bring out my books. I would read different books for several hours here, but most times, I would also read BL stories here and daydreams about my fantasies. The excitement that BL books give me while reading is one of my happiness because the content satisfies my imagination. It made me visualize the things I hope to experience for myself as well. There will be times that I would think of as the gay protagonist of the story who was with his boyfriend, and they'll be on a date. The guy was never afraid to be with the gay protagonist even though people would say mean things about them. Something like it's a sin, they are immoral, and such homophobic commentaries. The guy would doubt himself but still chooses what his heart wants. To continue loving the gay protagonist and to be together forever. A happy ending, but it's too good to be true because it's all fiction and is unrealistic.
I got to take a nap for a while.
~nap time~
"What time is it?" I asked myself in a voice that loud enough for me to hear.
"It's 7:30 PM." Someone talked.
I looked up. My head is on someone's shoulder, and my body is leaning as well. It's too dark, I can't see a thing, but he's a guy base on his voice, and it seems familiar. I moved a little away at the person beside me, and I rubbed my palm to my eyes to see him clearly who is he. To my surprise, it is Shane again.
"Why are you here?" I asked him. He isn't the person who will go to the library.
"Nothing, I happen to pass by," he said, "you'll have a stiff neck if you sleep while sitting, so I let you borrow my shoulder to sleep on." He proudly said, as if he is praising his self for doing a good job.
"Thank you. I should get going." The school will be locked at 8 PM. I picked up my things and left.
"Wait," he said, but I ignored him and continue walking.
I was at the doorway, and I saw Ley leaning in the wall. When I was in front of him, he grabbed my right wrist and said, "let's go."
We were about to go, but Shane had a grip on my left arm as he had made it to where I am.
"I said wait..." Shane said.
I looked at him with my face asking why. Ley's hold becomes tight as he looks upon us. But suddenly, Shane released my hand. Then, Ley started walking fast, still holding my wrist, leaving Shane behind.
When we were outside the school, I whispered, "it's hurting," Ley stopped, and he turned to faced me.
He said, "sorry," and hugged me. "You made me worried."
