Samson Seiker died. Or at least, that was the last thing he remembered doing. Instead of going to heaven, hell, or wherever else, though, he woke up in a peaceful forest, inhabiting the body of someone he very much wasn't. When thrust into the life of someone he never was, Seiker decides to learn more about his fate, and the fate of his unfortunate host body. But will he succeed when pitted against a world he does not recognize, an encroaching empire, and monsters that haunt the shadows around him?
