Cynthia was a manakin born in a kingdom that was founded under the protection of a manakin so she was treated as the succesor to the role of protector of the kingdom without her consent. Not one to take such an unreasonable role thrusted upon her she had decided to leave the kingdom upon helping them on their campaign  once as a token of appreciation for having been raised by them yet during said campaign she was betrayed and was transported to a completely different world called earth where magic and such is nothing more than a work of fiction.
