Universe: Onset is the story of Derek - A highschool graduate that doesn't have any goals in life other than working a dead-end job. On the last day of school a new and very promising game by the name of Universe: Onset is released. Upon logging in, Derek discovers that he might be able to make a living and a life in this game, but that might require some serious dedication to the game.
