Paul thought that he'd be working as an assistant to catalogue some old papers out an isolated cottage in the beautiful hills of the Pennines. He had his own studies, of course, but no-one in the small, rural community needed to know about those.  Those studies couldn't be hidden. Paul needed every shred of advantage that he could scrape together as old secrets and forgotten powers slowly returned to the dark hills that had hidden them for so long. And more than a few old papers were at stake.
