Or is it?In Andras' world, necromancy was the backbone of the empire, The great necropolis but magic this powerful needs more than an iron will to keep it tame. The secrets of necromancy held with an iron grip lest they be used to create plagues, hordes of undead, corrupt the minds of the powerful, or searches for immortality gone wrong  and other nefarious dastardly deeds. No, necromancy is a science and resurrecting the dead still an obscene taboo. Training and power is only given out to those who not only meet the high standards of the empire, but must also be strong enough in character to be trusted with what's given. This is a story of one of those necromancer's, finding himself in a new world.
