A small town in rural Japan is shaken up when a string of mysterious disappearances involving teenage girls has it's residents on edge. Word reaches new residents Senji Kamura and his mother, Hinaka, after they move in. Regardless he gets a late start into his junior year of high school. While he has an easy time making friends, a certain lone girl catches his attention. She's quiet and shy yet somehow alluring to him. Senji will come to realize that someone within that school, may very well be connected to the vanishing students plaguing this otherwise peaceful town...
