Synopsis
In the not so distant future, VR has developed into more than just a game industry. People work their living in many different games and experiences, some getting items, some acting as power levelers for new accounts, others keeping lore for the many games and how to complete them.
Among all VR though is the cream of the crop, The Gateway Capsule Console, or GCC. Despite being updated and getting addons for three years it only needs the base model to play most VR games just fine.
Reality Dive, a new highly anticipated VR game. It's biggest advertisement the so called 'Infinity Possibility System' which allows it to monitor a player's actions and make NPCs respond in a logical way. Combined with a number of other systems, such as an AI system to create custom voices and an extensive NPC generator, it promises to be one of the most life like games ever made.
This new game requires the most expensive add-on ever produced for the GCC, the No Contact Neural Control System. Also known by fans as The Brain-Wave Controller.
This is the story of a single NPC in the game, the secret project, Ultima.
