Some semi-fantastical grungepunk adventures tell of Challis Gannagen and her twin brother Rasalas as they encounter a reality bigger than a mere energy shortage in the canyon city of Oedolos. Despite, or perhaps because of, Challis' multifaceted flux manipulative abilities, the pterosaurs are becoming uncontrollable, but a solution involving an expedition through the rainforest to the far mountains to retrieve monsters from myth turns into a cosmic spiral of sabotage, heist, relationships, betrayal, and the natural challenges of an atmosphere thick with the dangerous momentum of flux particles. Tripwires are everywhere, unassuming threats in the form of addicting wire-like cybernetics or as treacherous individuals who only use others to achieve their own ambitions. Our heroes face the devastating consequences of their actions and find the fate of the whole city on their shoulders - unless they can get the support of the Vortesharken, windworkers who harvest flux through flight and know the secrets of the trade and secrets of the past.
