This is the improved magicless, with the main character Hendrik David "Toby" Vance trying to survive which almost seems like a fruitless endeavor but maybe just maybe he might just survive, after what seemed like the start of an apocalypse and maybe now his doom. Under going heavy revision for writing purposes, story will not be changed just the presentation and order of events.
