Synopsis
Seth dragged his feet, heading back to the kingdom after a long day's work. He tapped his almost empty bag of holding.
"Today's loot didn't amount to much. How many warm showers and hot plates of food can I get with this?" Seth contemplated his bleak future.
He needed money to live, but all he could ever hope for was to scrape by and survive. Those who truly lived were definitely not those with a healer's occupation. A healer would never be deemed an equal to someone who walked the path of bloody combat.
The orange glow of the sunset set faded away and the stars of the night sky revealed themselves. Seth walked down the broken and upturned roads of a ruined city of towering metal and stone. He looked up into the sky and debated his future.
"Must I join a party or guild?" Seth asked himself with much hesitation. Healers on the front lines were not treated well. "Going solo as a healer didn't hasn't been enough to pay the bills..."
Seth sighed, giving into his fate.
He walked back to the kingdom and made the resolve to join a party, even if it meant he wasn't treated well.
"At least I'll get a distribution of the treasures and loot," Seth said to himself to not immediately toss away his earlier determination. Sometimes one's man's trash can be another's treasure. And certain treasures can change more than the fate of the beholder.

Hello!
I'm still experimenting a bit here. I wrote the synopsis in third person, but the actual writing is in first person. I might change that later on depending on people's reactions.
My goal to to post 2 chapters a week for now. Probably on Monday and Friday? I hope that to be the schedule for now.
Positive criticism and suggestions are always welcomed. Also, adding to Royal Road
Thanks for reading!
