Oswic of Blackbridge finds himself trapped deep beneath Bleak Fort, a dungeon of unimaginable size. His spell book has been lost, taken from him by the dark warlocks. He will have to record his actions anew, and use them as his spells, combining them and growing them in his ever expanding arsenal. But the dungeon is dangerous, far too dangerous.
