Eirik Wilder's first posting overseas did not start favourably. After dealing with the seasickness, he then had to face a burning sun that threatened to boil him in his armour whilst trekking through humid forests and arid scrubland. What began as a simple stopover en route to the northern continent of Fenoria quickly became a rescue mission through hostile territory where danger lurked in every shadow. With his trusted comrade Ruefin at his side, Eirik discovered that, although the youngest of his unit, he was far from the weakest. A hidden talent surfaced as they marched towards their goal and, although he could not understand or explain its source, Eirik learned that it could be the key to their survival.
