three years ago, the world collapsed into chaos. you could say it was the start of the apocalypse, a new era even. After a year of death and destruction everything quieted down. and for all those that had survived the disasters the world brought, went into hiding, or sacrificed many things to continue to live in this new broken world. but, one day something changed. after two years, towers started to appear. they seemed endless like they could reach heaven. when they appeared, however, some people would get summoned into the towers while others lay wait on earth. no one knew what went on inside the towers, or if someday they would bring more destruction to earth.
