Synopsis
Thirty-nine years ago, humanity found itself ensnared in a tragic galactic war between two empires. Thirty-six years ago, their home planet was thought to be destroyed. Thirty years ago, the war ended in with in mutually assured destruction that ended both empires. Some stragglers from the side humans were on banded together and formed the Orion Council, both to coordinate the recovery effort, provide a sense of unity in this time separation, and welcome new species into the galactic stage. Shortly after its rediscovery Earth finds itself the to be central hub of logistics and recovery.
Thirty-years have passed, and aliens live among humans on this planet, trying to live as normal lives as they can on our home they call a "deathworld." And the side effects of such coexistence have caused the Terrans to re-examine their entire society.
Part mystery, part speculative fiction, all weird satire I made, the story explores multiple perspectives of aliens and humans from across the galaxy, once thought enemies, now having to co-exist, coming to grips with the past together.
