Synopsis

Follow Xander, Connor, and Takeo as they trod along the Path, a seemingly endless road toward adventure, power, and glory. Part 0 - The First Steps Xander and Connor have long waited for their coming-of-age ceremony, and the chance to finally start their journey on the Path. They are both excited and nervous and have been training for this day for three difficult years. Both will leave their home, never to return, earn their Seal to become Pather. Whereas Takeo tumbles into the Path by accident and will have to learn the ropes along the way. Part 1 - The 108 Waterfall Valley The trio have stumbled at last in a Haven, a safe place for Pathers to rest, trade, and learn. Connor and Xander aren't ready to leave the Path just yet, despite the dangers they have faced. They are eager to explore the Valley and learn more about the Path. Takeo, on the other hand, must decide where his future lies. What they have forgotten is that the Path is a dangerous place, and even a Haven is a Challenge to overcome. [Paticipant in the Royal Road writathon challenge] Hello everyone! I'm a new writer here and also not a native English speaker, so please bear with me. I'm writing this story for fun, and I hope you enjoy it. It is a mix of several genres. You'll find some elements of cultivation, some light litrpg, isekai, dungeon diving, bits of exploration à-la One Piece, and fun ideas I've come across over the years. At the moment, romance isn't planned, but that might change later on. My main characters are too young and enthusiastic to think about that right now. I plan to release a chapter a day-ish. Change of plans. The book is on hold until January. I ll try to get back at it then at a 3 chapter a week rate. Should the story be well received, I might continue the story after the writathon is over, albeit at a more sedate pace. I'm not sure how long this story might end up to be, but I have a general idea of where I want to end up. Reading is fun, writing should be fun too! Art: Eskhar Hygan: instagram.com/eskharhygan
