The protagonist, Marcellus is one but many of the people of a humongous empire on the decline, He chases immortality, granted to those chosen by a mysterious thing called the Caelum Morsu. He starts as but an Adventurer's guild member, attempting to climb the political ranks and cultivate his self into someone of legend. He uses wit to change others to his side and assembles a group of trusted allies amidst a huge and fantastical world. Also, I'm a beginner writer and all that so sorry if there is bad grammar, and all that stuff. I'm extremely new to this so if there be any way to give feedback please do, I merely wish to share stories and improve.
