So, I'd like to apologize. My personal life has gotten a little exciting, as I'm trying to buy a new modular home to install on my land, and the powers that be have decided to make this as difficult as possible. My head hasn't exploded yet, but I still haven't actually _bought_ a house, so the bullshit continues...

As to the writing, when you're writing in someone elses' universe, and you're trying very hard not to break anything or write non-canon things, you get hung up a lot, trying to avoid writing things the primary author later has to disavow, and/or write around. History has to be agreed upon. Names have to be decided. All the little details that are present in a story, but are only really noticed in their absence. And the primary author has his own shit to do, so things get delayed as I wait my turn. Soon, a lot of this stuff will be resolved, and things will continue as per normal, with a target of 5 thousand words per week.
