Vincent had a weird nightmare. Humanity was destroyed. The city he called home burned to the ground, his home blew up, and his loved ones died one by one before his eyes as he watched in crippling desperation, knowing one day it would be his turn. When the nightmare truly ended, he opened his eyes to the bottom of the sea and a world that he knew nothing about. — Even though the MC is literally chased by the time, there will be many slices of life, tons of world-building, and interaction with many different characters. The burn will slow as our main character, Vincent, searches for his family and friends in a System world that is brimming with monsters wanting to take a sweet bite from his flesh and time. — This book’s main goal is to build a mysterious System world where to require anything–stats, skills, food, or even a little bit of underwear— you need to sacrifice something dear to you, your own limited lifespan. Also, I want to write interesting characters and build a culture built upon this ‘Time is all’ mechanic. — There will be stats but also the cultivation mechanics. The system actively manipulates its inhabitants instead of only giving out free power and being done with it. Our protagonist, Vincent, is a young man in his early twenties, also an ex-college-freshman with many regrets and errors in his life, but he understands those facts too late. ***I am planning to release daily until it is chapter ten, then two times a week schedule (Monday-Friday) *** The first ten chapters are short, but later chapters will be much longer.
