About Through Dimension and Universes is a story following a slightly dysfunctional “family” that keeps finding themselves in different dimensions and universes. Follow this “family” as they try to make the best life for themselves and their new friends. The people in this “family” will have no meta knowledge of any people or events that take place in these universes. For example if they go to the DC universe they would not know anyone's secret identities or even if the world they are in has superheroes/villains. If There is a character that should know something but doesn't then that just means there in the Dimension where that character never learned that information. (Definitely not a plot hole). Power system Since this story will take place in multiple different dimensions/ universes I wanted my characters to have a flexible power/magic system. I tried to create a power/magic system that could work and even explain most other anime power/magic systems. I call it the Universal Magic System. This power/magic system has three parts to it  known as SOUL, WILL, and AUTHORITY. Soul= In every living creature there is a soul. To protect the soul from harm it produces an energy that surrounds it. This energy goes by many names like Mana, Nin, and Chakra but the main characters refer to it as Aura. This Aura can be shaped to do anything the user wants but overuse of it will leave your soul and mind defenseless. Will= Will is the Intention you give to Aura that determines what you do with it. A weak Willed person will find it much harder to control and manipulate their Aura. Will also determines how fast you can learn/ create new powers. Think of monkey D Luffy, he has very high willpower. He is always creating and learning new powers and his strenght grows very fast. Authority= Every soul has Authority over something. Authority is what power your soul resonates with the most, and is like a person's Affinities. A soul's authority can either be extremely specific or broad but is unchangeable. Authority does not limit what you can do with your Aura but the less an ability is related to your Authority the more difficult and taxing it will become, but with training you can use abilities outside your Authority just as efficiently. Example of Authority= You have Authority over Ice, this means creating abilities that utilize ice comes easier to you and is less taxing on your Aura. This also means creating abilities that are closely related to ice like snow will come easier to you. Creating abilities that do not relate to your Ice authority is possible but is more difficult to learn. The less an ability is related to your Authority the more difficult and taxing it will become, but with training you can use abilities outside your Authority just as efficiently.
