Synopsis
Jonah thought he had the perfect power: the ability to slip into people's minds, manipulate their thoughts, and control their actions without them ever knowing. For years, he used his gift for personal gain, shaping lives, careers, and relationships to suit his desires, all while believing he was building a better world—his world. He convinced himself that a little control was all it took to create a utopia where chaos and conflict couldn’t thrive.
But control is a fragile thing.
When Jonah begins to notice resistance, subtle at first but growing stronger, he realizes something is wrong. His usual seamless influence over minds becomes strained. People hesitate, push back, and their thoughts slip through his mental grasp like sand. What was once an effortless skill now feels like a battle, and it’s a war Jonah isn’t sure he can win.
As his power falters, the cracks in his carefully constructed world begin to show. His influence weakens, and his mind-controlled followers start to rebel. The more Jonah struggles to maintain his grip, the more his own humanity slips away. He becomes a prisoner of the very minds he sought to control, losing touch with who he is and what his original goals were.
In a world where thoughts are no longer private and freedom is an illusion, Jonah must confront the consequences of his actions. As his mental dominion collapses, he’s forced to question whether he’s truly the savior he once imagined—or just another villain, trying to bend the world to his will.
Thought Crime explores the boundaries of power, control, and the cost of playing god with the human mind.
