Tomas Escarra was a simple hitman up until a secret organization known as BOP (Bureau of Paranormal) caught up to him. He was mostly content to live a life of going from job to job, collecting money from each contract as “The Cleaver” until he was offered more than two million dollars to investigate the trail of his former associate, Facundo Bigotes. Only problem? Facundo was doing jobs for the Underground. The Underground is what it sounds like except worse. Beneath the Earth’s surface is the bowels of a giant organism known as Seren which is home to amongst the worst of the worst and strangest things ever. Amongst them are mad cultists who sacrifice people to form artifacts that grant supernatural and otherworldly powers to their wearers, known as OOParts. Tomas is assigned by BOP to find Facundo and the OOPart he was going to sell to the highest bidder. After meeting a guide who promises to show Tomas around any portion of the Underground so long as she gets paid handsomely, Tomas embarks on a world that not only terrifies him but throws everything he once knew about reality out the window. And in this nightmare he only agreed to jump into for some cash he faces foes that want this particular OOPart more than BOP does. Only…they may not be from this world…
