Jackson's life is at a standstill. He's a recent university graduate with no prospects, no hopes and no dreams. Then he suffers an accident which many would love to experience--he falls too deep into his dreams, and suddenly he finds that there's no way out. He yearns for home, but he can't seem to find an exit. Thus, he must pass through an infinity of parallel worlds, each wondrous and terrifying in its own way. In order to survive, he will have to risk losing Self and Soul in order to gain the power to restructure his entire being. Jackson and his allies will need this power desperately, for the void lurking in a dark corner--the endless black that hides its face--looks to devour them and use their eyes to feed its endless hunger. I will try to update this story as often as I can--ideally, I will update it bi-weekly. I'm motivated to continue this story because I can see its ending in the corner of my eye (albeit faintly), and I want to share the end of Jackson's journey with you.
