Having recently been rejected by his childhood friend Miyu, Ray was most definitely in a sulking mood which would've certainly continued on for weeks, positively months. Not that he was the brightest person either, as he was often picked on by others that found his gloomy attitude to be displeasing. However, this all changed one day when a seemingly powerful entity appeared and offered him a choice. The choice of participating in a game he has no clue about, but grants him any wish if he were to come out on top. Being the unadventurous person that he is, he refused the offer with little thought. . . Only to reconsider when his childhood friend and first crush died in a tragic accident right in front of his eyes.
