A man tortured by the thought of death, corrupt by forbidden powers, has spent years searching for the key to eternal life. Seymour Kauffman, once a proud Thilhorn priest, has lived in hiding while making preparations. After exhausting every resource known, all manner of magical spells, holy arts, and dart rituals, he has extended his life beyond what his body and mind can handle--soon he will break apart and collapse to rot.  His efforts may have paid off, however--his quest is close to an end. He has come across a creature of perpetual energy, perhaps one that will grant him the immortality he so desperately seeks. He has come alive with confidence and arrogance, which may result in his inevitable demise.  After a long-awaited prison break, four men band together to put an end to Seymour, but it won't be easy. The influence of the creature he has sought after, and the chaos it has created, has disturbed the forces of nature. Demons from storybooks have roused from their slumbers and have descended upon the world, and the four men have to overcome themselves and their own pasts if they ever hope to confront Seymour and put an end to his madness.
