The story of every hero begins somewhere, but it isn't always told. A tale of strife, woe, and triumph. The classic set ups that lead into a satisfying conclusion. But what if it all ended? What if the single person left to tell the tale is the one who already had their journey? How could they convey their tale to their audience if they would never even be believed? Cassandra had a fulfilling life and knew that it was all over for her long ago, but she made peace with that on her own. She had plans for when it happened, contingencies for her 'retirement', and even a scheme for revenge or two. Unfortunately none of that mattered in the end; she was whisked away to a time and place far beyond mortal means. As a recently crowned octogenarian (that means 80 years old), no one gave her any second thoughts in her home besides her grandson, her only family member. But she was far from ordinary. Even from birth. This is the story of Cassandra's second life in a world that is wholly unprepared for her. Unfortunately for them, she's prepared for it. Warnings:  Descriptions of gore or violence is to be expected. Character interaction is going to be a slow burn. By that I mean it might take awhile for a full community; the beginning is going to be just Cassandra for awhile. If it seems like a reference it probably is. I am a terribly inconsistent writer. Scheduled content is my antithesis. This is going to be a LitRPG with few blue boxes, but information will be conveyed through messages. It's going to be a mishmash of legend and myths that are not going to be 100% true to the original stories, but are correct nonetheless in this story. But it might take a bit for the LitRPG to start. A bit of a set up before we get into mechanics. It's not going to be a slow progression. The character is, as described, mostly complete already. It's going to be about adapting to this new reality and abusing everything she can with this new System. Apologies in advance but there's no schedule as far as chapters go.
