Synopsis
“I’ll be right back.” She heard his voice once more. The sound of heavy breathing behind her. She turned and a bolt of terror tore through her, as he stood there, face bloodied, eyes jellied and jaw hanging low.
Fiction writer Ruth is preparing for a long-needed trip away with her husband Simon to the Scottish Highlands, they settle down for the night following a long day of working and packing.
The car needs fuel, and the snow is falling heavily outside. Simon gives Ruth a peck on the cheek, leaving her alone in the dark.
Plagued by nightmares and with the night-growing teeth, Ruth awakens with a heart filled with terror.
Simon is home safe and sound, but there's a knock at the door.
But is the stranger malevolent? Or is it trying to give a warning?
