The road to power is said to have uncounted joys. The wealth, power, and authority you can have would make anyone envious. When people fight for the right to have these things, the true world of power is shown. Filled with violence and death, the world of cultivation and power can never be joyful, even to the ones at the top. Ren was just a normal young boy in a rural village not belonging to any state. Demons would ravage his home destroying everything, and killing everyone. He would realize that he is weak, both in his heart and his body. Unable to do anything for his fellow villagers, he cries his soul dry. His world would change, and more quickly than he might be able to handle.
