After a sudden string of grisly murders, Tam is sent to investigate with the hope that his spiritual ability and status will help solve the mystery. The discovery that a supernatural force is not at play, but rather a recluse with lycanthropy, brings him to confront his own desires and the morals and expectations of his village.
