Born in a world ruled by the supernatural, with genetic defects that spiralled into separate and violent split personalities that made them too dangerous to live amongst their own kind, young and socially awkward witch twins Hiroshi and Amaye Karugame, unaware of this truth, were raised in isolation from the rest of the world by their parents in the woods. They had the freedom to do whatever they wished, except leave. This lonesome reality would soon crumble before them when they woke up and found their home destroyed and parents petrified into stone statues. With no memory of how this even happened, and not yet experienced enough to reverse the spell themsleevs, the twins venture out into the world beyond the walls of their home for the first time in their lives to find the means to save their parents.  But that's all easier said than done. With world dominated by the vilest of creatures and masters of the arcane, they will face unforeseen dangers and uncover secrets about their world as well as themselves, relying on each other to navigate a landscape filled with both the unlikliest of allies, adversaries and demons sleeping within them.
