Orion, trying to find clues, comes across a mysterious vampire and soon finds himself desperate for her. Is she only claiming him for herself, or are her motivations malevolent? Will Tallulah give in to the unfamiliar trappings of luxury and submission? Orion and Tallulah must unexpectedly cross paths in the mist-covered mountains, far from what they knew, to bring the lost Fey home. ______________________________ Now that you know a bit of what you're getting yourself into, this is a dark and urban fantasy set in the Wilds, a fantastical and dangerous world of the fairies (called fey & faeries interchangeably in these stories), and modern America's southeast–Appalachia's Great Smoky Mountains, to be precise. The Wilds series will have mature themes: profanity, violence, sometimes highly uncomfortable situations, and occasionally descriptive intimate encounters. Some books from the series will be darker than others, but the tone will remain constant. This world of The Wilds can be unfair, and spots of brightness and/or purity should be cherished.
