We’re in the late 1970’s. Dr. Erica Fulton’s dental office in Chicago hasn’t seen patients in a long time. She spends her idle time reading old magazines and listening to music. While working with the Mexican police to help rescue Erica’s mom, Erica and Jim end up imprisoned by the bandits, who intend to negotiate with the American government to exchange them for a major drug trafficker serving a life sentence in the U.S. The ending is unexpected. Rosa, her boyfriend, and the Mexican armed forces work together to rescue the hostages. And while a new life awaits Erica and Jim back in Chicago, the world is about to learn about the existence of the deadliest crime organization ever.
