Alain Smith was desperate for any kind of work he could get. With no other option, he accepts a job for them, and sets off to escort them to their destination. And in doing so, he takes his first steps into the world of the supernatural.  Now traveling with a vampire and her mysterious servant, Alain finds himself drawn into a deadly world of superstition, where every step could be his last.
