Bernard "Bernie" Brooke is a freelance driver working on the highway in the sky. After a night's job done, he travels down the highway as per usual until an airship crashes onto the road, changing his fate and leading him down a path he cannot put into reverse. A stranger emerges from the crash and demands Bernie that they leave before Marathon takes him back. Thrusted into corporate intrigue and circumstances beyond his control, Bernie and his friends Ronan and Zayn embark on an adventure to find the origin and identity of this stranger and why Marathon is hell-bent on getting him back.
