Sam is a young boy who is being raised in an orphanage. His life there isn't much fun, as the other kids bullied him because of an ugly grey eyepatch that was sealed onto him. Only his 'sister', Lydia really cares about him. At his "coming of age" ceremony, which officially marked his 16th birthday, a veteran warrior staying in the forest nearby tries to kill him, but Sam doesn't just survive... Follow Sam and his adventure in this fantasy world as he tries to find out his birth, and secrets about himself that even he does not know. (Authors notes: This is my first time writing a book, and will be done in my free time. I can't guarantee anything, but I will try to get at least 1 chapter per week. I am open to suggestions and ideas, since I'm writing freely without a plan... I will post warnings about violence or adult stuff, though it will mostly deal with descriptive violence)
