Hello, my name is Chad King. I’m a twenty-year-old fitness trainer who makes most athletes look smol. I casually bench press the weight of two adults. With a single gaze, I can silence a wailing infant or make a tough-ass gangster rethink his life choices. I’m also a coward. Just imagine: a harmless little spider scuttles across the floor, and I transform into a high-pitched, foot-stomping dance machine, as I try my best to avoid the eight-legged monstrosity. And please never, and I mean never, mention horror movies or rollercoasters to me. Thank you.  So imagine my surprise—and outrage—when a godlike being calls me the bravest person on Earth and sends me to another world with a mission to save it from some cosmic horror. And not just some peaceful world, no. Here, all my strength seems like a joke. Compared to sacred artists—the guys who casually demolish mountains with a punch and brawl with literal dragons—my lifetime of relentless training means nothing. So what can I do?
