After her transformation, Beatrice has been trying to adjust to her new life—or rather, her undead life—in a world where magic reigns supreme, though she has none of her own. With no other choice, she's spent several years living as a porter. This might have been manageable, except for the visions that have recently begun to bombard her—visions of people and places she doesn't remember. With more questions than answers arising, Beatrice struggles to survive in a world that grows increasingly hostile and unfamiliar. The only thing she's certain of is that something is very, very wrong. Volume 1(Rebirth):   An undead porter. Not exactly how Beatrice imagined her life, but it's not all bad. After all, she's still alive in a sense, which is more than she could have hoped for. The job is simple enough—until one particular event changes everything. While trying to make ends meet, Beatrice signs up for a D-rank dungeon expedition. At first, things seem normal, but as time goes on, strange occurrences begin to surface.
