For decades, the World of Aani had been shocked as, one by one, the Realms of Magic fell. Empowered by the weakended state of the World, the human Ninth King of Tir Pennyl striked out against Adara, the Kingdom of the Elves. However, as the threads of destiny would have it, the Fates have finally called for their Trials, the tests that are long-rumored to find the Heirs of the Heroes who died to save the world a thousand years ago. Yet, not everything is how it may seem...  As the contestants start dying mysteriously, a rag tag group must come together to investigate what is plaguing the Castle-Fortress of Ervaren, before they die too.
