Space, the final frontier. A veritable smorgasbord of scintillating sights and delectable delights from each boundless, tenebrous and star-studded horizon to the other. Or is it? Well yes, in part but much the same as with hookers things are not as prisitne as they may first appear, for lying just under the surface hides that which all aspiring, star hopping wild men fear most. Government! Yes that bureaucratic monolith of byzantine, contradictory regulations and hulking, lumbering procedure has wormed its way out to the stars as well. It is not alone though, for along with it in barring the way of adventure stand warring, solar system spanning states, alien aristocrats gorging themselves off of the labour of the peasantry and revolutionaries with maddened eyes rushing to see who can first set alight this powder keg of galactic conflict. And, amongst this tumult lie some individuals simply attempting to fulfill that most human of endeavours, get rich or die trying. It is among this rare breed where we find our protagonist and his titular titillating tales.
