Professor Irene Thorne is a professor of Xenology operating within the Sentaraan Mining Conglomerate, a vast, empire sized mining corporation that owns and operates the stars within Barnards Loop and maintain a monopoly on the rare mineral Sentinite, used in the production of fuel for faster than light travel, as well as a now disgraced former xenoarchaeologist of prominence within the Helian League. After trying to run from her past, it only comes back to haunt her. A package arrives at her office, with no return address, only the word "Kip" written on the back. As well as instructions to gain transportation to the star Theta 1 Orionis as soon as possible. She will be hunted, she will be tracked, but by using her wits, and having help from friends along the way, the question is, Will She survive?
