The captain of the pirate’s ship stood shocked at what the vessel she and her crew overtook was hauling. Her heart pounded her boiling blood through her veins until she drew her sword and pointed it at the cargo. Something most awful, most forbidden, and most dangerous-- a merman. A demon of the sea.
