For thousands of years, humanity has enjoyed their dominance over Earth. However, in the year 1972 'gates' appeared. Appearing in the thousands, and with unknown potential humanity was caught at their most vulnerable moment. A variety of monsters walked through the gates and ravaged many cities, some are no longer existing. However, as the gates allowed new horrors to enter the world, great wealth lies in those gates. Metals stronger and better than iron and steel on earth. Gems that can power an entire city. Potions that can cure almost any aliments.  In the year 1976, the first magically enhanced human was created. The tables were turned, and humanity fought back with much ferocity. These magically enhanced humans are called Hunters, and they are the vanguard of humanity into this new unknown era.
