Book 1: Rivals The world ended. Governments disappeared in a single night and the average person was left to pick up the pieces. That was until they showed up, the Arcs. The freaks of nature that were able to do amazing things. Control fire, teleport, kill you with a simple thought. These Arcs took over when the world was trying to put itself back together. Able to destroy entire cities with the wave of their hands, normal people didn't stand a chance. Follow William Matthews as he tries to figure out his place in the world. Will he use his own special power for good, or be tempted to join the side of the bad guys in a world that hates his kind?  Series Synopsis:  I have about 9 main books planned out, and 2 prequels. Right now the story follows Will, but will branch off to other characters later on. The series will follow each of the stupid heroes as they grow in power and challenge the rulers of the world. Their abilities and morals evolving on the way as they figure out their place in the grand scheme of things.  Author's Note:  I hope to submit every Friday, but we will see.
