When a tribe in the north is raided by a band of mercenaries, some are taken slaves. As they travel south, they will need to learn and adapt to a world they've never seen before, scarred by war, corruption, and death. This is a story about hate, love, resentment, duty, and the cost of freedom. Though it is set in a fictional medieval world, do not expect magic, fantasy and wonder. This is a grim and realistic take on tragedy and how far one will go to achieve what they want, or what someone else wants... What to expect: - Pain - Intense violence - Complex and developed relationships between characters - A story and setting inspired by the greatest pieces of fiction. Mostly Berserk, but also The Road, Gladiator, and a little Warhammer 40k I don't plan on making everything super polished from the start. This is mostly about writing the story down and improving it afterwards. The main focus here being the content, not the form.
