England in the 1800’s was a bad time for babies to be born. It was a time when health was something you buy and most of the people were too poor to care. And in this era lives a boy named Oliver. Oliver was just another abandoned orphan, one of the many products of the trying times. He had the fortune - or misfortune - to be taken in as a servant of the Renfield Household where he spent most of his time scrubbing shoes, cleaning latrines, and getting buggered and downright abused by the daughter of the household. Everything seems bleak until he met Crepsley, A self-proclaimed Doctor who insists on having Mad in front of his name. And everything became much bleaker. Journey with Oliver as a little boy is dragged unceremoniously then tossed thoughtlessly into a world of Magic, Nightmares, and Madness!
