All Kira ever wanted was to be able to sing.  However, her colony has banned anything creative which includes the making of music, forcing her to hide her dream. When her mother's sheet music is discovered and destroyed, she flees the colony, only to end up in the hands of alien kidnappers. Taken light years away from Earth, Kira must decide whether she should return to Earth or listen to the song of the stars, calling her toward a new home and a new life.
