Synopsis
Star Gazer, the pinnacle of Earth’s technology and ingenuity is sent on a colonizing mission to a distant solar system. Hailed as the last hurray by the humans who were trapped on their severely overpopulated solar system, the spaceship carried 263 of their best and brightest, in hopes that the human civilization wouldn’t perish with the death of their sun. Their on-board AI is given the task of running the ship while it travels on its century-long mission. But when they stumble across something unexpected, all the meticulous plans turn upside down. Read on to see how the few survivors of the Star Gazer clash with an ancient evil that was supposed to be lost to the annals of time.
What to expect:
- A sci-fi novel showing the dangers of deep space travel, and maybe possible supernatural elements.
- A narrator styled prose with third person limited perspectives. The writing style is not from any one person’s POV.
- Deep mysteries that will unravel over time.
- Lot of character building to show how the horror effects the human psyche as the story progresses.
- This is my entry for the RR Community Magazine Contest. The writing prompt given for the competition is – “Dead Men Tell the Best Tales”. So of course, be prepared for a lot of death and mayhem.
